WhatsApp certificate delivery through click-to-send links

WhatsApp certificate delivery reaches recipients where email open rates fall short, particularly in markets where mobile messaging is the primary communication channel. Mutamad supports delivery through WhatsApp click-to-send links: for each credential, the platform prepares a message containing the recipient context and verification URL, then opens WhatsApp so you send it from your own account.

This is intentional design, not a missing integration. Mutamad does not connect to the WhatsApp Cloud API or operate as a bulk messaging provider. You retain control of the conversation, the timing, and the personal tone of each send. Training coordinators and HR administrators often prefer this for cohorts where they already communicate with learners by WhatsApp.

Click-to-send works alongside email and download. After bulk generation from an Excel roster, you can deliver credentials through system email on Free and Starter plans, through bring-your-own SMTP on Pro, or hand off individual WhatsApp links per recipient. Each link includes the verify URL so the recipient can confirm the credential and share it with employers.

The credentials delivered via WhatsApp are full bilingual PDFs when downloaded, with Arabic and English rendering identical to the template preview. Verification codes embedded in the message point to permanent URLs. Known codes never 404; revoked credentials still open with status shown.

WhatsApp delivery does not bypass plan limits on certificate volume. Free includes ten certificates per month; Starter covers one hundred with branding removed and three seats; Pro covers one thousand with ten seats and BYO-SMTP. System email remains metered on lower tiers; WhatsApp sends are not counted because they originate from your client.

For organisations issuing across the Gulf, North Africa, and South Asia, WhatsApp is often the expected channel for sharing completion proof. Click-to-send avoids API setup, template approval, and per-message platform fees while still connecting recipients to a verifiable credential on a stable public page.

Combined with bulk roster import and WYSIWYG templates, WhatsApp certificate delivery completes a workflow: design the credential, generate the cohort, and reach each recipient through the channel they use daily. Mutamad handles preparation; you handle the send.

Privacy stays with your organisation. Because messages send from your WhatsApp account rather than a third-party API, recipient phone numbers and message content remain under your control. Mutamad stores credential records and verify URLs; it does not operate as a messaging intermediary or retain WhatsApp conversation history.

Training teams often combine WhatsApp with email in the same cohort: email for the PDF attachment, WhatsApp for a reminder with the verify link. Both channels point to the same credential record. Recipients who prefer one channel over the other still reach identical verification outcomes on the public page.
