Mutamad

A certificate generator where the preview is the issued PDF

Mutamad is a certificate generator built for organisations that issue credentials in more than one language. Arabic and English share one layout: names, course titles, dates, and verification codes appear where you place them in the template builder. The preview you see while designing is the same rendering pipeline that produces the PDF attached to each recipient and the public verification page linked from the credential.

The visual editor is not a rough mock-up that diverges at export time. Mutamad uses a single template module for browser preview, Gotenberg PDF output, and the hosted verify experience. When you adjust font size, spacing, or field placement, those choices carry through to every issued copy. Arabic text receives correct letter-joining and right-to-left layout by default, alongside Latin script for English fields.

You can start from starter templates — English modern, bilingual ceremonial, or Arabic-first — and adapt them to your institution's branding. Upload a logo, set colours, and map custom fields such as course name, grade, hours completed, or licence number. Grade visibility on the public verify page is off by default; you decide whether a field appears on the credential and on verification.

Issuance works for one recipient or hundreds. Upload an Excel or CSV roster, map columns to template fields, review the run, and generate every certificate in a single pass. Typos in names or dates can be corrected before generation. Each credential receives a unique verification code and a permanent URL that resolves for as long as the record exists.

Delivery options include system email, download, and WhatsApp click-to-send links. WhatsApp works by preparing a message with the verify URL; you open WhatsApp and send it yourself. Mutamad does not integrate with the WhatsApp Cloud API. Email on the Free plan includes ten system sends per month alongside ten certificates; Starter at twelve dollars per month covers one hundred certificates, removes Mutamad branding, and adds three team seats; Pro at forty-nine dollars per month covers one thousand certificates, ten seats, and bring-your-own SMTP for unlimited sends from your domain.

Revocation is a status change, not a deletion. A revoked credential still opens at its verify URL and displays its status. Known codes never return a 404. That permanence matters for employers, regulators, and alumni who may check a credential years after issuance. Mutamad treats credentials as append-only records with lifecycle states.

Whether you run a training centre, professional body, or internal L&D programme, a certificate generator should produce documents that look correct in every language and remain verifiable over time. Mutamad is built for that workflow: design once, issue at volume, and let recipients confirm authenticity through a stable public page.

Questions, answered plainly

Does the certificate generator produce the same PDF I see in the editor?
Yes. One template module renders the editor preview, the issued PDF, and the public verify page. What you place is what recipients receive.
Can I generate certificates in bulk?
Yes. Import a roster from Excel or CSV, map columns to fields, review the run, and generate all credentials in one pass.
What happens to a verification link after revocation?
The URL still resolves. Revoke is a status change. The page shows revoked. Known codes never 404.
